The room was quite clean, with a bath and shower setup that worked well for our needs. A ceiling fan provided some relief on a warm day, awesome for better circulation when open.
The old hotel showed its age. Rooms and corridors felt cramped, with narrow hallways and steep stairs. There was no air conditioning, a big issue during warm periods, and I encountered strange bugs that bit me while sleeping with the window open. The heavy sofa bed almost crashed down on first use, indicating wear and care issues. The decor and carpets could use a refresh as they felt very dated.

The particularly good and unbeatable location was near a Dutch art museum. There was a nice restaurant, a market and trendy stores next door. The breakfast was delicious and excellent with fresh made eggs, and reasonably priced.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room is very spacious for a family of 4.
It's not really a complaints. We were told that the area are not very safe. It's better to go back before nightfall. If travel with family, maybe its not a best choice. A stopover for a night its good, but not too long. Internet keeps getting cut off. Than agin we there for a stopover for a night, so it's not a problem to us.

charming, charming, charming
I loved the unique help-yourself breakfast, especially the freshly cooked eggs prepared just the way I like them. The cozy atmosphere in the breakfast area, complete with candles and tulips at each table, made mornings good. Plus, the hotel is nestled on a peaceful sidestreet, providing the perfect balance of tranquility while still being a short walk away from local attractions.
would recommend ❤️😊

Friendly staff. Family atmosphere, old fashioned but not worn down. Good location in a quiet residential street. City center and shopping streets start right around the corner. Small room but clean and light. There's a breakfast buffet, but they serve coffee or tea and cook or fry omelets etc for you as an extra service. Good value for money.
There's always room for improvement. In our case nothing worth mentioning as specifically negative.

Had standard room with wireless Internet, greenery outside and big opening windows to ensure we had a very nice stay. The breakfast was large and delicious with fresh made eggs, there were good pancakes and scrambled eggs. Location: the hotel was not far from the trains station, metro stop and bus stop and shops, cafes, and the metro and tram stops

I was there for the North Jazz Festival nd I must commend the night shift staff (The lady). I always rocked up between 2 nd 4 am and she was there to open the door for me with a smile. The room nd bathroom were fab nd real value for money. Never got to eat because I spent the day out nd woke up late ;).

Fine location in the city center and rooms were big enough for us, toilets were good. The staff was really friendly and breakfasts were good as well.
The whole hotel smells like a bunch of smokers have been living there for months, that kind of old smell covering the walls.
